What lenses are available for VALLON ski and snow goggles?
All our ski and snow goggle colorways have a two-part naming schema. For example: ‘Freebirds™ Off-White-Silver’ means that the frame is Off-White, paired with a Silver lens.
We then give customers the option to buy Extra Lenses based on their needs. The most important factor to consider when shopping for different ski and snow goggle lenses is the VLT of the lens.
VLT stands for ‘Visible Light Transmission’ and is a metric of how much light is allowed to pass through the lens.
• Lower VLT values e.g. 13% VLT indicate a lens best suited for bright sunny days
• Higher VLT values e.g. 76% indicate a lens best suited for overcast/cloudy days
You can view the Lens Guide available on the Freebirds™ and Stairways™ pages to see the full range of lens options for each product.
