The design of the Crossroads™ draws subtle cues from classic alpine heritage - most notably in the headstrap which takes inspiration from the weave of traditional climbing rope. But beyond aesthetic, the Crossroads™ are built to deliver uncompromising clarity, durability, and comfort in extreme environments and weather conditions.

ZEISS Toric lens technology: The best of both worlds
Core to the Crossroads™ is a dual-layer toric lens, developed in partnership with leading optics manufacturer Carl ZEISS. Toric lenses sit at the crossroads of lens geometry, combining the expansive peripheral vision of spherical lenses with the distortion control of cylindrical lenses. The result is clearer, more stable vision from center to edge, with reduced distortion, and exceptional depth perception.
Each lens features a 1.6mm shatterproof ZEISS polycarbonate outer lens, paired with an inner anti-fog lens from Mazzucchelli, ensuring clarity and vision during high-output activity.
PolarLock ™: Our new fast and secure lens change system
Conditions change fast in the mountains, and your goggles need to be able to keep up with your ambitions, whether you’re high-alpine mountaineering, or skiing through thick snow storms. Crossroads™ feature VALLON’s all new PolarLock™ magnetic lens system. The design pairs magnets with a mechanical release latch allowing for quick, effortless lens changes on the go, without compromising on lens security, or eye protection and safety.
Every pair of Crossroads™ comes with two interchangeable lenses as standard:

Lens 1: An all-round Cat. 3 lens (available in Silver, Copper, Green, or Orange mirror finishes) for bright to mildly overcast conditions

Lens 2: A high-contrast Cat. 2 Violet lens, designed to enhance visibility in overcast and flat-light conditions
Additional Cat. 1 (Yellow) and Cat. 4 (Smoke) lenses are available for purchase, so you’re covered for everything from low-light storm days to high-altitude glacial summits.
Why Lens Tint Matters
While photochromic lenses adjust darkness, they can’t adjust tint, and tint plays an important role in contrast and visual clarity while exploring new terrains covered in snow and ice.
Crossroads™ lenses primarily use a brown tint. These lenses are ideal for natural environments as it improves contrast, preserves natural color perception, and enhances eye comfort.
The second Violet lens takes things further in low-light conditions by filtering green and blue light that causes glare and surface reflections on snow. The result? Clearer textures, better depth perception, enhanced contrast and confidence when visibility drops - something that a single-tint lens can’t replicate.
Built for Comfort, Durability, and All-Day Performance
The Crossroads™ frame is constructed from durable, temperature-resistant TPU with a sleek matte finish. Maximized ventilation along the top and bottom of the frame, combined with the anti-fog inner lens, ensures fog-free vision throughout the day.
The newly upgraded 50mm nylon headstrap inspired by climbing rope features a silicone lining to keep your goggles securely in place during long days out.

Every pair of Crossroads™ goggles comes with a soft microfiber pouch for storage and lens cleaning, as well as a portable hard lens case to protect your spare lens while traveling or ski touring.
True to VALLON tradition, the Crossroads™ name pays homage to a moment in music history drawing inspiration from the legend of blues musician, Robert Johnson. The story goes that Johnson sold his soul to the devil at the crossroads in order to gain mastery of guitar playing..
