VALLON Goggles
Look good, see good, ski good! Our unique goggles combine the most original designs on the mountain with best-in-class optics for all mountain conditions, developed in collaboration with industry leaders, Carl Zeiss.
SKI TOURING
Glacier sunglasses
VALLON's first product was the Heron Glacier, designed primarily for ski touring and alpine mountaineering. The best protection for your eyes in strong sunlight, with adjustable temples for maximum comfort during long days out.
SKI SUNGLASSES
Aviators make a comeback
During the 70s, Ski Aviators were the most popular sunglasses on the mountain. They were worn by everyone, from new enthusiasts to the most well-known skiers - and then they disappeared. We made it our mission to bring them back.
COLLABORATION
Wayne Wong Edition
Known for his unique flair, daring ski ballet moves, and infectious smile, Wayne Wong is a freestyle skiing legend. 50 years after the iconic poster of Wayne sporting ski aviators and tricolor skis was produced, VALLON set out to recreate the exact same image, featuring a unique Wayne Wong Special Edition of these Ski Aviators.
APRÈS-SKI
80s-Inspired Hazlewood
A great looking design, the Hazlewood are a throwback to the oversized teardrop shapes of yesteryear. Everybody who was anybody owned a pair in the 80s. We have brought them back with a technical upgrade and modern fit.
Frequently Asked Questions
Both have their place. Goggles such as the Freebirds™, Stairways™, Crossroads™ offer full facial coverage, and are better suited to skiing and snowboarding in mixed weather, high winds, and heavy snowfall. Ski sunglasses, like the Ski Aviators or Heron Glacier work well for ski touring in clear, calm conditions (and offer a classic alpine aesthetic).
Ski Aviators and Hazlewood are both fitted with Cat. 3 V52® mirror-coated lenses that protect your eyes in bright sunshine and help reflect glare off the snow. Heron Glacier, built with Cat. 4 shatterproof lenses are the best choice for extreme high-altitude brightness, or glacial terrain.
For low-light or flat-light conditions, choose a Cat. 1 yellow lens (as offered in the Ski Aviators Low-Light or Heron Low-Light). Yellow lenses have a high VLT (75–77%) that brightens your view of the terrain, and improves contrast definition.
Yes, all VALLON goggles use a dual-layer construction: a ZEISS polycarbonate outer lens, and a Mazzucchelli anti-fog inner lens to combat fog and keep your vision clear.
