A place of inspiration

Years spent exploring the endless outdoors surrounding the town of Verbier was the foundation for not only our initial designs, but founded the ethos of what we thought an eyewear brand could be.

SKI MOUNTAINEERING

Tackling the winter Haute Route

The inspiration for VALLON’s Heron Glacier came from years of ski touring and exploring backcountry, including the renowned Winter Haute Route - a 120km ski mountaineering challenge popularly undertaken between March and May each year. The route traverses high-altitude trails and alpine passes between Chamonix, France and Zermatt, Switzerland.
