The epitome of cool, Ski Aviators were worn by everyone from the greatest skiers (including ski legend Wayne Wong, who has his own Special Edition pair) to the biggest movie stars (Paul Newman and Robert Redford), these shades came in all different sizes and colors, and then they completely disappeared. We made it our mission to return them to their former glory, upgraded with exceptionally clear V52® lenses and a modern fit.

Mirrored V52® lenses
Look good, see good, ski good! The Ski Aviators take inspiration from a time when mirror coated lenses on the slopes were all the rage. The Ski Aviators feature VALLON’s proprietary V52® lens technology constructed from nylon polyamide to provide exceptional optical clarity (ABBE value 52), and 100% UV protection (UV400). They have the highest optical clarity of any performance sunglasses on the market, and are 20% lighter than comparative lenses.

The aviator-shaped frame is handmade from high quality acetate: a non-petroleum based material that is hypoallergenic, durable, and lightweight all-in-one.
