Yes. All VALLON goggle models are designed for excellent compatibility with standard ski helmets. The Freebirds™ and Stairways™ use a 45mm strap with silicone backing; the Crossroads™ uses a wider 50mm strap for additional stability.

Carl Zeiss is one of the world's leading optical manufacturers, known for exceptional precision and clarity. All VALLON goggles are designed with ZEISS 1.6mm polycarbonate lenses featuring the RiPel™ hydro-oleophobic coating, which repels water, oil, and grease - keeping vision clear in all conditions.

Cat. 1 lenses (43-80% VLT) are required for night skiing, low-light and heavy snow. Cat. 2 lenses (18-43% VLT) are best for flat/overcast conditions to medium light conditions, Cat. 3 lenses (8-18% VLT) are best-suited for bright, sunny days. Cat. 4 lenses (3-8% VLT) are only for extreme glacier and high-altitude environments. For mixed or unpredictable days, the interchangeable lens systems on all VALLON models let you swap lenses quickly and easily.

Yes, all VALLON goggle models use a dual-layer construction: A ZEISS polycarbonate outer lens, and a Mazzucchelli anti-fog inner lens with an insulating air gap between them. This reduces the temperature differential between your face and the lens surface, which is the primary cause of fogging on the mountain, as well as moisture build-up.

Freebirds™ and Stairways™ use a clip-in/clip-out interchangeable system. A tutorial for Freebirds™ and Stairways™ lens changes is available here. Crossroads™ uses VALLON’s PolarLock™ magnetic system, which allows fast lens changes with a secure magnetic latch to ensure your lenses stay firmly in place. A video tutorial for Crossroads™ lens changes is available here.
